How it works
- The bonus is calculated as base monthly pay × months paid. Example: base pay of 300,000 paid as 2 months = 600,000.
- The number of months can be a decimal (e.g. 2.5 months). Add together the summer and winter months to estimate the total annual bonus.
- Any fraction of a currency unit is dropped from the displayed result. Actual rounding may differ by employer.
- The number of months is usually based on base pay, but some employers use a different base amount (for example one that includes certain allowances). Check your payslip or pay rules.
- The amount shown is a gross estimate before income tax and social insurance contributions are withheld, so your actual take-home pay will be lower. Whether a bonus is paid and how many months it covers depend on company performance and rules.
