How it works
- Enter the number of each denomination — 10,000 / 5,000 / 2,000 / 1,000 yen notes and 500 / 100 / 50 / 10 / 5 / 1 yen coins — and it automatically calculates the subtotal for each denomination and the total cash on hand.
- Each denomination's subtotal is "face value × number of pieces," and the total is the sum of all subtotals. The total piece count of bills and coins is also shown.
- Enter the book balance (the cash you should have) and it automatically judges the difference from the actual cash on hand as "overage (too much)" or "shortage (too little)."
- Cash on hand = the total cash actually in your possession; overage/shortage = cash on hand − book balance. A positive value is an overage; a negative value is a shortage.
- Use it for register closing, cash checks in the safe, preparing change by denomination, and more. Enter the number of pieces as an integer of 0 or more.
- *This is a supplementary tool that calculates based on the piece counts you enter. Follow your organization's prescribed procedures for actual cash management.
