How it works
- The golf "Olympic" game awards points for putting feats (such as chip-ins and long putts) on each hole, then settles up at the end using a fixed value per point.
- Enter the value per point and each player's points earned, and this tool calculates each player's balance against the group's average points.
- Each player's balance = (that player's points − the group average) × value per point. A positive figure is received and a negative one is paid, and all balances sum to zero.
- Because settlement is based on the difference from the average, players above the average receive from the others, while those below it pay.
- Decide how points are awarded (chip-in = X points, closest-to-pin = X points, etc.) freely within your group. This tool only computes the payouts from the final points.
- Please enjoy this in good fun. If money is wagered, be mindful of the laws and rules that apply to you.
