How it works
- Percent off โ sale price: the price is multiplied by the discount rate to get the amount saved, which is subtracted from the price to give the final sale price.
- Discount amount โ percent off: the discount amount is divided by the price to get the discount rate, and the price minus the discount amount gives the sale price. Enter a discount amount between 0 and the original price.
- Use the 10%, 20%, 30%, and 50% (half off) preset buttons, or type any custom rate such as 15% or 35%.
- The rounding option controls how the amount saved's fractional part is handled: round down, round half up, or round up. Real stores may use different rounding rules.
- Displayed amounts are rounded estimates. The actual charge may differ depending on coupon-stacking rules, how tax is applied, and each store's rounding.
