How it works
- Given a rule like "X points (or a % bonus) for every Y charged," this finds the recommended top-up that meets your needed amount with the least waste.
- The recommended top-up is the smallest multiple of the top-up unit that is at or above the needed amount (e.g. needing 4,500 with a 1,000 unit gives 5,000).
- Points earned are calculated as "number of units × points per unit" in fixed-points mode, and "top-up amount × bonus rate" in % bonus mode.
- Effective return = points earned ÷ top-up amount × 100, and leftover balance = top-up amount − needed amount, showing how much you may overcharge.
- Two modes are supported: fixed points per unit, and a percentage bonus on the top-up amount.
- Point expiration, caps, and where points can be redeemed are not considered. Check each service's terms for actual rewards.
