How it works
- Mechanical power P equals torque T times angular velocity omega: P = T times omega.
- Angular velocity omega comes from the speed in rev per second n_s as omega = 2 pi times n_s, or from rev per minute N as omega = 2 pi times N divided by 60.
- Enter any two of the three quantities (torque, speed, power) and the remaining one is solved.
- Quantities use SI base units: torque in N·m, angular velocity in rad/s and power in W.
