How it works
- Winning percentage is calculated as wins / (wins + losses). Ties count toward neither the numerator nor the denominator, so only wins and losses are used.
- The result is shown in the three-decimal format common in baseball. For example, a 60% record reads ".600" and a .500 record reads ".500", dropping the leading zero.
- When both wins and losses are 0 the winning percentage cannot be calculated. Enter at least 1 for one of them.
- Entering ties is optional. The tool works with the field left blank, and any ties you enter affect only the total game count.
- For reference the winning percentage is also shown as a percent (e.g. .600 becomes 60.0%) so you can grasp the strength intuitively.
- The results appear in a table of wins, losses, ties, decided games, total games, and winning percentage, and you can post them to X from the share button.
