How it works
- Cost is calculated as power (W) ÷ 1000 × hours (h) × electricity rate per kWh. CO2 is the same energy (kWh) multiplied by the CO2 emission factor (kg-CO2/kWh).
- Electricity rates and CO2 factors vary widely by country, region, and contract. The defaults are rough placeholders, so enter the unit price from your own utility bill for a more accurate estimate.
- The CO2 emission factor depends on your country's and provider's power mix. Replace the default with your supplier's factor if you know it.
- Enter the heating-mode power draw (W) from the unit's spec sheet or catalog. Inverter models vary a lot with outdoor temperature and target setting, so results are only estimates.
- Displayed amounts and emissions are rounded, so period totals may not add up exactly. These figures do not guarantee your actual bill or emissions.
