How it works
- Pick a base time, set the hours and minutes to add or subtract, and choose add (+) or subtract (โ). The resulting time appears instantly.
- If the result goes past midnight it shows a day shift such as "next day" or "2 days later". Going back before midnight is shown as "previous day".
- You can add or subtract up to 23 hours and 59 minutes. For spans crossing several days, use the day shift shown with the result as your guide.
- Along with the resulting time, the total elapsed minutes are displayed, which is useful for tallying work or task hours.
- Everything is calculated right in your browser and nothing is sent to a server, so you can freely try out different time scenarios.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I add or subtract time from a clock time?
- Pick a base time, enter the hours and minutes to shift, and choose add (+) or subtract (โ). The resulting time appears instantly, along with the shift expressed as total minutes.
- What happens when the result passes midnight?
- If the result goes past 24:00 it shows a day offset such as "next day" or "2 days later." If you subtract back before 0:00, it labels the result "previous day."
- Can it shift a time by more than one day at once?
- A single calculation accepts up to 23 hours 59 minutes. For longer spans, repeat the calculation and use the day-offset shown in each result as your guide.
