How it works

Enter a start and end time in hours and minutes, and the elapsed time between them is calculated automatically as "X hours Y minutes".
For night shifts, all-nighters, or any period that crosses midnight, tick "End time is the next day" so 24 hours are added and the result is correct.
The elapsed time is also shown as total minutes, total hours (decimal), and total seconds, so you can use whichever fits wage calculations or data tallies.
When the end time is earlier than the start time, the tool warns you that the period may cross midnight, so you don't forget to tick the box.
